Elieke Kearns, PhD, RD, joined the IMGC as IMGC ROS Workshop Chair in 2023. She is currently the Director of Medical and Scientific Affairs at Kabrita. Elieke is a nutrition scientist and Registered Dietitian who stands at the intersection of innovation, science, and health. With a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biology from the University of California, Davis, Elieke has spent over a decade refining her ability to translate intricate scientific data into practical solutions in the world of nutrition and wellness. Elieke’s journey with the International Milk Genomics Consortium (IMGC) began in 2014 when she presented her dairy-based dissertation at the annual symposium in Aarhus. Since then, her relationship with IMGC has been steadfast. She has worn multiple hats — from being an active member participant to the Splash! Content Strategist, and now serving as the Chair of the Roll Up Your Sleeve Workshops.

Elieke’s commitment to scientific integrity and her talent for simplifying complex concepts have not only earned her accolades, including recognition as one of Fast Company’s Best Workplaces for Innovators in 2022 but have also positioned her as a trusted partner for businesses navigating the intricacies of nutrition and health. Born and raised in The Netherlands, Elieke now lives in Chicago with her husband, son, and dog named Brussel Sprout. She previously worked at the National Dairy Council, RXBAR, PepsiCo, and Bobbie.
